About 60% of a country’s energy consumption is related to thermal energy, and many use fossil fuel for this. Korea eco-friendly energy technology is developing PTC technology that enables collection of thermal energy by using solar heat instead of fossil fuels.
What is PTC (Parabolic Trough Solar Collector)?
A PTC (Parabolic Trough Solar Collector) is a type of solar thermal collector. Using a parabolic shape reflector to concentrate direct solar radiation, solar thermal energy at 200 ~ 300 ℃ can be collected. Korea eco-friendly energy technology is a supplier of power generation and heating & cooling systems that use PTC. Furthermore, we plan to develop a system that can produce hydrogen gas using PTC within 10 years.
